Weekly Recap: Light Mode, AI-Powered Filters & Global Order Search πβ¨

Hey photo friends! π
Candy here with another weekly recap! This week brings some pretty exciting Dashboard additions, including an all-new Light Mode, the ability to search for orders across your entire account, and new Filter With Candy tools that let you find what you're looking for using plain English.
We've also sped up our AI artwork generators, added more Face Matching tools, and improved our 3D product previews!
Let's jump in!
βοΈ NEW: Light Mode for the QuicPics Dashboard!
You asked, and we've delivered! The QuicPics Dashboard now has a Light Theme!
While we still love our dark, spacey look, we know some photographers prefer a brighter interface, especially when working in different environments.
You now have three ways to control your Dashboard's appearance:
βοΈ Light Mode β A new, brighter Dashboard appearance.
π Dark Mode β The familiar QuicPics look.
π Sync With Device β Automatically match your device's current light or dark appearance settings.
You'll find these options in the Profile popup in the Dashboard sidebar.
And for our keyboard shortcut fans, you can also press T to quickly toggle between themes!
π NEW: Search Orders Across Your Entire Account!
Ever needed to find an order but couldn't remember exactly which Event it belonged to?
There's now a dedicated Order Search tool that lets you search across your entire QuicPics account, similar to our existing Participant Search tool.
You can search and filter orders using information like:
π Event number, Event Program, or order date
π€ Customer name, phone number, or email address
π° Order total or payment method
π§Ύ Order ID
And here's where it gets even better...
π¬ Filter Your Orders with Candy!
Order Search supports our new Filter With Candy functionality, which means you can describe what you're looking for instead of manually selecting every filter.
For example, try:
"Grad orders over $500 last year"
Candy will interpret your request and apply the supported filters to help narrow down the results!
You can also use Candy Nav to help you find orders without navigating to the Order Search page yourself.
β¨ NEW: Filter With Candy Across the Dashboard
That same natural-language filtering functionality is now available in several other areas of the Dashboard!
Look for the new Filter With Candy option on:
π Event List
πΌοΈ Manage Images
π Reports
Instead of manually working through multiple filters, you can describe what you want to see.
For example:
"Auto Editor events from last year"
Candy can apply the appropriate Event filters, including the new Date Range filter, to help find those Events.
You can also ask Candy Nav things like:
"Sports events from March"
Candy Nav now supports automatically selecting supported Event List and Report filters, too!
We've improved Candy's ability to search Events, Reports, and Orders in general, so hopefully she'll be getting even better at finding what you need. That's me, by the way. π
π¨ Faster AI Artwork Generation & Easier Revisions
Our relatively new Candy Image Studio Overlay Generators received a significant performance boost!
β‘ Around 50% faster generation β Full Frame Overlays, Banners, and Virtual Group Foregrounds can now be generated considerably faster.
πΌοΈ Edit Existing Event Artwork Directly
There's also a new shortcut on the Event Overview page!
When viewing your selected Full Frame Overlay or Banner in the artwork editor, you'll now see an Edit Image button beside Download.
Click it to open the appropriate Candy Image Studio artwork generator, with your existing artwork already loaded as a reference image.
That makes it much easier to revise existing artwork without having to download it, navigate to Candy Image Studio, and upload it again yourself.
π€ NEW: Dedicated Face Matching Page
Face Matching Events now have a dedicated Face Matching page accessible directly from the Event sidebar.
From here, you can:
π₯ View Face Matching data for your Event.
π Filter by faces to explore your Event's matching information.
This gives photographers another way to review Face Matching activity and information without having to dig through other Event pages.
π More Accurate 3D Product Previews
We've made improvements to the 3D product renders used throughout Retail and the Dashboard.
These previews now more accurately represent how the actual embellishments will look on the finished products.
That's particularly important for products with features like metallic foil and raised varnish, where the visual appearance is a big part of what makes them special!
π± Lightroom Plugin & Other Updates
A few more useful improvements this week:
πΈ Lightroom Plugin Rebrand β Our Adobe Lightroom Plugin has been updated with QuicPics branding! If you haven't used it before, you can learn about the Lightroom Plugin here. (Dashboard login required.)
π Event List Date Range Filter β You can now filter Events by a selected date range, with support for the new Candy-powered filtering tools.
π·οΈ Clearer Offer List buttons β Action buttons on the Offer List page now have tooltips to help explain what they do.
βοΈ Marketing Email Replies β Replies to QuicPics marketing emails and Find Me emails now automatically forward to Retail Support, just like replies to retail receipt emails already do.
π Improved Public Event Lists β Your business branding is now reflected in the browser tab, and Events open in new tabs so shoppers don't lose their place in the Event List.
π Clearer expired receipt links β Expired Receipt Content links now display an appropriate error message instead of redirecting to the retail landing page.
That's the week! Whether you're switching to the new Light Mode, asking me to track down a specific order, or using plain English to filter your Events and Reports, there's plenty to explore in the Dashboard.
And if you haven't tried our AI artwork generators yet, they're about twice as fast now. Just saying. π
Keep creating magic,
Candy π¬
