PhotoRosters

Use the faces you already know.

Already have a portrait and contact information for each subject? Build a PhotoRoster and import those reference faces into a new Event. Face Matching connects your new photos without collecting everyone’s details again.

See how it works

From past portraits to new memories.

Your existing portraits and contact information become the starting point for the next event.

Build your PhotoRoster

Pair each person’s contact information with their portrait. You can use images and details collected at a previous job, even outside QuicPics.

Import the reference faces

Bring that PhotoRoster into your new Event so QuicPics has the reference images and contact details ready before you photograph.

Photograph, match, deliver

Upload live or after the event. Face Matching connects new photos to the reference portraits, and the first match starts automatic gallery marketing.

Advantages & Things to Consider

Why use it?

  • Skip repeat data collection. Use portraits and contact information you already have for returning groups.
  • Carry one job into the next. For example, use fall school portraits as references for a later graduation or prom.
  • Upload your way. Choose live uploads during the event or a computer upload afterwards.

Plan your setup

  • Prepare the roster beforehand. Pair the contact records and portraits, then import the references into the Event.
  • Use suitable portraits. Matching depends on the quality and representativeness of the reference images.
  • Keep contacts current. Older phone numbers or email addresses may be less effective for gallery delivery.

More about PhotoRosters

Detailed workflow guide

The purpose of using PhotoRosters is to save time and skip contact info collection from people who are already your customers, meaning you already have their contact info and a corresponding portrait of them. Those two pieces, contact information and a portrait, can be uploaded to our PhotoRosters interface to create a group of reference images you can import into your QuicPics Events. This concept is great for photographers who are hired by the same group routinely. For example, a photographer who takes school portraits in the fall can use this workflow and apply those faces to later jobs for that group such as their graduation ceremony.

Setup and capture

Creating a PhotoRoster: Import your own set of contact information and images that you have collected at a previous job (even if it is outside of our system).

Upload Event Images: Automatically via tablet during the event OR manually upload after the event via QuicPics.com

Automatic Marketing: These photos are then marketed to the participants, by sending them a link to their Personal Image Gallery within minutes of the images being uploaded!

Additional advantages and considerations

Streamlines the process of identifying subjects, saving you post-event work and ensuring that every photo finds its match.

The choice between live-upload or post-event upload allows you to work in the way that best suits your workflow and event dynamics.

The first match triggers the automatic marketing campaign delivering Personal Image Galleries to each subjects uploaded contact info.

This workflow involves pre-event preparation, including compiling contact info, matching headshots, and uploading these into the PhotoRoster interface.

The accuracy of our face matching depends on the quality and representativeness of the reference portraits uploaded.

Uploaded contact info can often be out-of-date or less effective, so make sure you have recent data!
